Carrots, chard, and sprouts in a smoothie? YEP. I have to get those raw veggies somehow. It can't be a life of all creamed products. Ice cream, cream cheese, butter, yogurt, half and half: these only get a girl so far before her pants stop fitting comfortably. Actually, the smoothie tasted pretty good despite its inclusion of salad products, but it did smell slightly reminiscent of a sub sandwich.
Dinner smoothie ingredients: apple, pineapple, banana, orange and pineapple juice, carrot, chard, sprouts.

Yeah, I know, I know! It's funny because before we moved here, Sharon wanted me to try her green smoothies because she just got her vitamix, and I was pretty reluctant. But one morning, we had a breakfast party, and she brought over green smoothies, which had spinach among other things in them, and I was really impressed! It reminded me of green eggs and ham. :-) And I actually did enjoy drinking it!
