So, Snark's mama is visiting. We're having a fun time and they're headed to Courtland today to hunt for azurite and malachite. (Snark was really sick last week and I've picked up a cold from him, so I'm going to yoga class this morning and staying home, but not going to Courtland to wear myself out.) She stays until Monday.
This past Monday we gave our notice for where we live. We're going to move out mid May. We've decided to live at Andy's over the summer and possibly cat sit for her (if she still has her cats at that point; she's currently trying to find homes for them) while she's in Maine working as a bee keeper on her friend's honey farm.
Except for the snow we got (that melted quickly) on Sunday, we've had lovely weather, sunny and in the 60s! Perfect for the mama's visit.
I've made way too much bread as could be expected from me: 3 loaves of whole wheat, 1 loaf of maple walnut, a couple loaves of banana bread, and a giant loaf of french bread. Also, halvah shortbread. In fact, we are the place to come if you want any sort of bread product because we are, additionally, stocked with pita, lavash, and naan; big and small tortillas; crackers; tortilla chips--you name it! It's ridiculous really, but we'll end up freezing most of it.
