My new favorite space in Bisbee!

We went hiking on a trail that begins near downtown at the end of OK St. It leads up to a makeshift scattering of shrines contributed to by many, a beautiful view of layered mountains in the distance. There are weather torn prayer flags, pictures of saints from various religions, statues of Mary, crosses and Buddas, as well as random offerings of seashells, coins, beads, a book on flowers in colonial Williamsburg, and somebody's dentures. Weird. Peaceful. Ecclectic. Lovely. There's plenty of space for wandering off on one's own to think and be, and there's also a bench that looks off into the hills and to Bisbee below in the canyon.
