i finished my blanket last night!
you know... the one i've been knitting for the last 10 months; it has the most boring and fantastic memories knitted into it.
a few that come to mind:
*taking my 7 year old friend to a bday party for a family that has two sets of twin children (wow!); driving there required me to make a U-turn on a freeway during rush hour (i still can't understand how we survived that turn)
*camping with e and her friends in southern CA
*being miserably sick
*meeting all of snark's extended family for the first time
*halloween with courtney in tulsa
anyway, i began the blanket the night before i left for CA last summer (july 08, almost to the day). it's the biggest thing i've ever knitted, about the width of a queen-sized mattress and just a few inches shorter in length. i'll put up a photo soon. snark said he'd clean the spot off my camera lens first.
back to knitting the easily-carried projects like dishcloths...
