angelina national forest

we just got back from camping in the angelina national forest. free primitive camping. it was really beautiful. unfortunately, lots of trash lying scattered around in the bush from previous campers. the abandoned buildings are from the old saw mill. the skeleton is an armadillo skeleton we found just off the trail.

What great pix! Thanks for telling me about the blog. I look forward to following your adventures around the country. I loved the birthday card and post card, by the way. Best to you both . . .
