Today I am joyful for:

*This hibiscus flower, which is in bloom on our front porch.

*Veggie Dog found a new ball halfway through our walk this evening. She carried it the whole way home in her mouth, which she's not partial to doing--she's usually more of a ball barking beagle rather than a ball carrying beagle. We have never seen her carry a ball for such a sustained period of time, and she brought it right up to the front door, carried it inside the house, and up onto the bed.

*Time alone to prepare for my interview (by babbling repeatedly aloud to myself)

*Eating salad, sitting out on the porch steps with Snark, for dinner.

Also, I have another job interview on Thursday.
