I've realized that keeping up on the good moments that happen, as in simply remembering them later on in the day, is really, really hard. Why is that? It's pretty easy to remember all the things that went wrong with my day.
Here's a belated list of happy, yet little moments:
*Blossoms on the baby fruit trees in the yard
*Noisy birds in the afternoon
*Homemade peanut butter and cashew butter
*Hot water for doing dishes, cleaning clothes, and taking showers
*Losing Veggie Dog BUT finding her safe (and pleasantly stubborn) in a neighbor's cactus patch
*Veggies from the oven--morning, noon, and night
*Michael's prism hanging in the window of the roasting room, bouncing rainbows onto the wall of the bagging room (where I work)
*Dave (who doesn't normally play games) coming over to play games for three hours with us and the mamas--lots of laughing and teasing!

Sounds so lovely!! It reminded me of advice I read lately to record three to five things you do each day that make you proud. I tried it a couple of days ago and it was really hard!
