Hey y'all. I'm back in Bisbee, semi-moved into my new place, which is up the 144 stairs from where we used to live. It's really lovely to be back and especially to be re-introduced to what a sweet town Bisbee can be. One of the perks about Bisbee is how often people wave and smile and say hello. Walking downtown, I realize I actually know quite a few people and it surprises me. Even the people I only know by sight and not name wave and say hello.

I'm back to work and that feels really good. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy working with my coworkers at OBR. Seth, my boss, is such a caring, generous man, and I know that working here is one of the best jobs of my life because of the very fact of who I get to work with and how we all interact with one another. Bagging and mailing out coffee could be just another repetitive service job. I think having an employer that sincerely cares about his employees like they're his family makes all the difference in making it a job I'm happy to go to each day.

I was pretty deficient in the blogging realm for the month of October, but hope to be more consistent in November. I feel like it's a good way to stay in touch with my family and friends when life is busy and we don't have the hours in the day for phone chatting and letter writing.

I'm feeling particularly grateful to have had time to connect with my grandma and auntie on the phone today, and to have chatted with a few of my close friends as well. I think I'm going to continue with the phone conversations and make another call.
