So the owner of our house (the one we're moving out of) showed up about an hour ago, no notice or phone call, and started moving her stuff in. Ummmmmm...? By that point, the bathroom had been cleaned, the rest of the carpet steam cleaned, but we still had the kitchen floors and bathroom floor to clean. We also have a few big items we need to move over to Andy's such as the compost, Snark's cabbing machine, the hammock swing attached to the tree, our woodpile, and other miscellaneous items (the parsley and onions need to be transplanted from the window box... you get the idea). Well, last we talked to the owner, she said we could have a few days past the 15th to finish moving, since Andy left a couple of days later than expected.
But here she is. Our stress levels had been dwindling, but now they've skyrocketed again. We have somewhere to be in an hour and Snark is scrambling to help the owner put her mattress frame together while our bucket of soapy water and rags sits in the sink. What is it with people? Why couldn't she have just called to give us some notice? Is that really so much to ask?

What the ?*%@???? That is extremely rude and inconsiderate of her. I wish we lived closer and could come help out.
Thanks for the support :-) from afar. I'm glad it's done with now, but what about when she's living in her Bisbee house? I wonder if she considered that we're going to be her freakin' neighbors and it would have been nice to have remained positive with each other, so our relationship as neighbors wouldn't have to be strained.
