Looking at the fire through rainbow glasses (which are kind of like the old fashion cardboard 3-D glasses)

We've been up to some other-than-our-ordinary shenanigans this last week (besides going to get sushi, and feeling like that was unusual and special, on Thursday). This past weekend was the 6th annual Bisbee Yoga Expo and I helped out with a few of the preparations, as well as the teacher's dinner. I was volunteering in exchange for a couple of free Ashtanga classes, but alas! I woke up Saturday morning with a horrible pain in my back, under my left shoulder blade. It hurt to lie down, to breathe deeply, to bend, to sit or stretch. I cried and felt miserable for myself and couldn't go to the yoga classes on Saturday or Sunday. All of this, I think, from sleeping soundly, but in a funky position Friday night. Anyway, Sunday we left for the Hot Well Dunes, which is a hot springs in between Bowie and Safford; it only costs $3/day to soak and camp. Very cool! I was feeling better enough by Sunday morning to sit in a car for a few hours; the stitch in my back being less acute than it had been on Saturday. We spent Sunday and Monday in the surrounding area, rockhounding (V-dog luxuriated in being able to explore off-leash while we picked up our treasures) and exploring the nearby cities during the day, camping and enjoying a fire at night, soaking in the hot tub Monday and Tuesday mornings when we woke up.
