more bisbee pictures (because it's just so darn adorable!) from one of our hikes:
from our hike on the bisbee hillside: some flowers which have been in bloom all over the hillsides
. . . and a blue-green bushy mass growing off of a burned up tree
the cliff dwellings in the gila national forest, new mexico.
we didn't actually get any photos of the insides of the dwellings, however. i think we were too busy talking to the "interpreters" who are volunteers who tell us what they've learned of the dwellings. and we learned that they were probably never dwellings in the sense of homes, but were instead socio-religious meeting sites for ceremonies and gatherings.
the sky was strikingly blue on our hike down from the cliff dwellings and i asked snark to take a photo.
i don't remember what these are called, but they lined the roads in the gila national forest.
a flower from our camp site, which was at a hot springs about three miles away from the cliff dwellings.

I love your pictures!
thanks, dear! i love being able to show them to y'all, so you can see what we're up to. (and then there's less work for me trying to describe it all). oh, always the lazy one! :-)
