snark and veggie dog being cute in between rounds of cards
the purple statue that visually greets us on our daily walks was smashed before we returned to bisbee. waah. only the feet are left now.
an hour or so before needing to head to work, snark cracked his head against the guestroom closet door frame (it only stands about 5ft 7in)--at the same time, he bit his tongue and lip.
the bisbee museum welcomed residents of bisbee, sierra vista, and fort huachuca to visit for free in the month of august. snark and i lusted after their magnificent mineral/gem collection---too busy drooling, we forgot to take photos. but here's one of what downtown bisbee would have looked like back in the day.
and here's one of a creepy mannequin lady at the museum
i've actually been having lots of fun at my art table this month, playing with paint, glue, and paper scraps. one day i spent hours cutting out words, then arranging them into possible poems for future collages. here's a snapshot of a pieced-together stanza from random magazine finds.
and i painted a nightstand snark found for me...
it's to replace the one i currently have that we picked up at a yard sale on a farm (and which smells like chicken coop--ick!)
