*super snark being stung by the sting ray at lover’s beach state park
*watching the sunsets in fort myers beach and the sunrises in fort pierce
*getting a flat tire in the everglades, having to unpack the whole trunk to get to the jiffy spare, and driving around on the spare for two days/camping in a stranger’s backyard (with permission) that night because we made it to the state park too late
*in key west: sleeping in our car in a grocery store parking lot, super snark cursing the whole night and rattling a wire hanger out the window at the noisy roosters, which were crowing every 10 to 15 minutes
*cockroach motel in homestead
*midnight walk at low tide on atlantic coast beach
*dog beach day: collecting shells at walton rocks beach/being covered in over 100 noseeum bites between the two of us that itched like having chicken pox for a whole week
*shady rental agreement in sarasota
*biking on the siesta key beach at night/biking in sarasota and venice
*swimming and snorkeling in the clear water springs (at juniper springs in ocala national forest and at manatee springs state park)/camping in the primitive youth group area—about 5 acres of wilderness just for us and the armadillos
